Toowoomba Mountaineers Season Launch and Nexus Delivery Corporate Skills Challenge
Quick feet and good hand and eye co-ordination was the key to taking out the inaugural Nexus Delivery Basketball Skills Challenge on Friday 29th April at the USQ Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre.
The Challenge doubled up as the season launch for the Toowoomba Mountaineers.
The challenge saw teams of two people going up against other teams of two, until there are only two teams left standing to fight it out for the honor of winning the inaugural basketball challenge and grand prize of 2 return flights to Cairns, including 2 nights accommodation and 2 tickets to a Cairns Taipans home game.
Funds raised from the challenge were donated to the Toowoomba Clubhouse $4.5 million Laundry Project which once completed, would be Australia’s largest social enterprise business.
Congratulations to all the teams that entered and to GDI Property for winning this year’s Challenge.
